During the May long-weekend my wife and I headed down to Brooks, Alberta to visit our brand new nephew, Peyton.  We’re pretty excited to be first-time uncles/aunts — which explains the 200+ photos we took over the course of the weekend.  These are a few of our favorite photos of the little guy.

Lately I’ve found experimental photography to be most interesting.  Our bath is getting cleaned today, and so is full of soapy, bubbly water.  I grabbed some quick snaps and tried applying different effects.  I’m a bit unhappy with how grainy these turned out, but I think they’re otherwise somewhat interesting to look at.  I think next I’m going to mess around with these in Photoshop or Pixelmator to see if I can create some interesting wallpapers.
