Wishing for summer

I’m pretty acustomed to the bitter Canadian winters, but for some reason this winter feels exeptionally long. Perhaps it’s the record-breaking amount of snow. Perhaps it’s because I’m getting older. Whatever the case, this morning I had to look at some of my photos from last summer just to remember how life-affirming the warm season here can be.

These are photos of Maligne Lake / Spirit Island from a trip my wife and I took to Jasper National Park.

One more pic of my favourite season.  Snapped with my iPhone.

blurry fall walk

Went for a fall walk with my wife and camera.  I turned off autofocus to try something new.  I’m thinking about getting one or two of these printed on canvas — any suggestions as to which photo I should use?
