Happened across this photo I took while in New York last fall. It’s a great city and I’m looking forward to hanging out with the rest of the team again soon.

I recently purchased the Sony NEX-5 for our upcoming trip to Switzerland & Austria. It comes with a decent 18-55mm lens, and I also picked up the 16mm lens. In order to fund the purchase, I sold my Canon 40D and lenses. I was a bit sad to let it go, but I think the NEX is a better fit for me. I haven’t had much time to play with it yet, but I can tell it’s definitely going to be a fun camera to pack around, and I’m looking forward to our trip even more knowing I’ll be able to snap crisp photos without weighing down my backpack.
